Our team walks alongside youth on their journeys toward stability and independence, always centering their voices and strengths.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Internship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LifeWorks is seeking a <strong>Fundraising &amp; Events Intern\u00a0<\/strong>to join our Strategic Partnership team for the <strong>Fall semester of 2026<\/strong>. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting fundraising operations, donor engagement, revenue strategy, and special events. The intern will play an integral role in maintaining high-quality donor data, supporting prospect research, coordinating fundraising events, and improving internal processes that help advance LifeWorks&#8217; mission.\u00a0 This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized, and analytical student interested in nonprofit fundraising, operations, business intelligence, event management, or project coordination.<\/p>\n<p><u>Key Responsibilities<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Revenue Operations\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and best practices for CRM usage, data governance, activity tracking, and moves management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prospect Research &amp; Fundraising Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct donor and prospect research, including wealth screening and identification of potential major gift prospects.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare research summaries and portfolio recommendations for frontline fundraisers.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with donor segmentation, reporting, and fundraising analytics to support strategic decision-making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Event Planning &amp; Donor Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support planning and execution of Lunch for LifeWorks, the organization&#8217;s signature annual fundraising event, along with other donor cultivation events throughout the semester.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with guest communications, RSVP tracking, and event registration management.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate logistical communication with vendors, venues, caterers, and A\/V partners.<\/li>\n<li>Help manage sponsor benefit fulfillment, ensuring all recognition and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare day-of-event materials including seating charts, run-of-show documents, volunteer assignments, name badges, and event packets.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in event planning meetings by preparing agendas, documenting action items, and tracking project progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administrative &amp; Project Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain project tracking systems and timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Support cross-functional collaboration across the Development team.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Gain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Throughout this internship, you&#8217;ll gain valuable experience in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Nonprofit fundraising operations and development strategy<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">CRM administration and database management<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Business intelligence, reporting, and dashboard development<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Prospect research and donor pipeline management<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Event planning and execution for large-scale fundraising events<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Vendor and sponsor relationship management<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Project management and process improvement<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Data analysis using Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookups, segmentation, and reporting<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Professional communication with donors, sponsors, and community partners<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Cross-functional collaboration within a nonprofit organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Current student in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Communications, Business, or related fields.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
