The Kovacheva Lab combines the energy and creativity of a startup with the scientific rigor, mentorship, and collaborative reach of Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. We work side by side with clinicians to move rigorous computational discoveries from model development through evaluation and integration into clinical workflows, including EHR- and device-based applications.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an intellectually curious, hands-on research assistant with strong Python and machine-learning skills who wants their work to matter. You will have opportunities to work with large-scale clinical datasets\u2014including a platform containing billions of data points from more than 300,000 patients and investigate clinically important challenges such as hypertensive crises, hemodynamic instability, and hemorrhage.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Projects may include modeling physiological waveforms, developing computer vision models for ultrasound and other medical imaging modalities, and integrating signals, images, and clinical data. You will contribute across the full research lifecycle and take increasing ownership of defined projects\u2014from thoughtful code and experimental design through model development, interpretation, reproducible analysis, and communication of results with clinical and technical collaborators.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Join a collaborative, fast-moving team with opportunities for mentorship, publications, and cross-functional partnerships across Mass General Brigham, Harvard Medical School, the Broad Institute, and industry.
