We are looking for a thoughtful, creative, and mission-driven Social Impact & Community Intern to help build a national community committed to improving pediatric therapy.<\/p>\n
You will help engage parents, caregivers, clinicians, therapy providers, researchers, advocates, and other industry leaders around the challenges facing children who need care. You may support community-building initiatives, partnerships, events, research, educational resources, and campaigns that increase awareness and encourage action.<\/p>\n
This is not an observational internship. You will own meaningful projects, build relationships with people across the pediatric therapy community, and help create a platform that gives children, families, and clinicians a stronger voice.<\/p>\n
What You\u2019ll Do<\/h2>\n
Depending on your interests and experience, projects may include:<\/p>\n
Identifying and engaging parents, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, therapy providers, and community leaders<\/p>\n
Helping develop and manage The Pediatric Collective\u2019s membership and broader community<\/p>\n
Building relationships with schools, universities, nonprofits, professional associations, and advocacy organizations<\/p>\n
Organizing webinars, roundtables, listening sessions, working groups, and community events<\/p>\n
Gathering stories and perspectives from families and clinicians<\/p>\n
Researching barriers to pediatric therapy, including waitlists, workforce shortages, insurance access, and geographic disparities<\/p>\n
Developing campaigns and initiatives that increase awareness of pediatric therapy<\/p>\n
Creating educational resources for parents, caregivers, and community partners<\/p>\n
Supporting newsletters, social media, and other community communications<\/p>\n
Identifying opportunities for partnerships and collaborative initiatives<\/p>\n
Tracking community engagement and evaluating the impact of programs<\/p>\n
Presenting ideas and recommendations directly to The Pediatric Collective\u2019s leadership<\/p>\n
Who Should Apply<\/h2>\n
We welcome undergraduate and graduate students from all academic backgrounds, including:<\/p>\n
Social impact or nonprofit management<\/p>\n
Public health<\/p>\n

Psychology or child development<\/p>\n
Education or special education<\/p>\n
Communications or journalism<\/p>\n

Other related disciplines<\/p>\n
Prior healthcare or community-building experience is not required. We care more about empathy, initiative, communication, and a genuine desire to improve access to care for children and families.<\/p>\n
