Other duties may be assigned)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct a classroom instructional curriculum and activities, for assigned children, that encourages the growth of language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and monitor the work activities of assigned Preschool Aide(s)<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and monitor developmental screening of children, assist in collaborating and implementing Individual Educational Plans (IEPs)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the progress of individual children.<\/li>\n<li>Perform daily Health checks of children.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in home visits with parents of assigned children and conduct parent-staff conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of Teacher Aides<\/li>\n<li>Represent the MSHS program to community and local and regional educational agencies.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of current and new educational practices, techniques, and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain dual language in the classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare children for transition into kindergarten.<\/li>\n<li>Implement CLASS dimension and domains into the classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in early release training, mentoring, and professional development.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in a classroom environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide children with experiences and opportunities that allow them to develop curiosity, initiative, problem-solving skills, and creativity.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop and implement clear, reasonable, consistent, and age-appropriate rules and expectations for children, engages the children in the rule-setting process.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records<\/li>\n<li>Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, safety practices, and Head Start Performance Standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate degree in early childhood education (ECE) or related field with ECE credits<\/li>\n<li>One-year teaching or related early education experience<\/li>\n<li>Proficiently read, speak, and write in English in a business setting<\/li>\n<li>Current driver&#8217;s license and proof of auto insurance\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance<\/li>\n<li>Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis<\/li>\n<li>Must obtain Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two years or more teaching or related early education experience<\/li>\n<li>Proficiently read, speak, and write in English in a business setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Future Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in early childhood education or related field with ECE credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BENEFITS:<\/p>\n<p>CCI is a strong, non-profit agency to work with.
