Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time intern for our Finance Department. The individual will work directly with our Operations Team to ensure books and records are complete and accurate.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This position is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in accounting or finance who seek to gain valuable hands-on experience in a nonprofit environment. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Hoboken,\u00a0 NJ, and must be eligible to work in the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must have introductory knowledge of basic accounting principles\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must have familiarity with financial statements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must be comfortable with Excel\/Google Sheets\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must be detail and task-oriented\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must be able to multitask and balance multiple projects\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must be able to work on-site\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u25cf Inputting month-end journal entries\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Reviewing expense submissions to ensure policies are followed\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Completing accounts payable requests\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u25cf Reconciling accounts\u00a0<\/p>\n
