Administer Occupational therapy treatment per protocol and guidelines set forth by Federal and State regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Review Physician\u2019s referral (prescriptions), patient\u2019s condition, and medical records to determine occupational therapy treatment required. Perform tests and measures patients\u2019 strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, cognition, and activities of daily living. Record findings to develop or revise treatment programs.<\/li>\n<li>Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts or enter information into computer. Transcribe and carry out physician\u2019s orders in a correct and timely manner. Recognize and question inconsistencies in medical orders or treatment regimen.<\/li>\n<li>Confer with Physician and other Practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment programs and interpret Occupational Therapy treatment with other aspects of patient\u2019s health care.
