The incumbent serves as a first-line supervisor over the courtroom administration section of Operations. The incumbent primarily directs staff and ensures compliance with the appropriate guidelines, policies, and internal controls.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p with the staff in providing services.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Assign,\u00a0direct,\u00a0and review the work of the staff,\u00a0ensuring the Court\u2019s needs are being met,standardized procedures are followed,\u00a0and reporting requirements are maintained and timely.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Plan and monitor the daily work allocations to be performed by the subordinate staff by\u00a0setting\u00a0performance\u00a0standards,\u00a0reviewing work product,\u00a0setting schedules,\u00a0and enforcing\u00a0deadlines\u00a0and\u00a0other\u00a0priorities.\u00a0Monitor and evaluate techniques for efficiency,\u00a0effectiveness,\u00a0and quality assurance.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Provide guidance and clarification to staff on Local and Federal Rules and recommend changes and additions to Local Rules as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Review and evaluate procedures,\u00a0plans,\u00a0and manuals for consistency,\u00a0accuracy, and applicability.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Evaluate the work performance of the staff.\u00a0Prepare and maintain\u00a0written documentation for periodic reviews and yearly performance evaluations.\u00a0Evaluate and recommend training needs and provide the necessary resources for informal training.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Serve as a guide, coach, mentor in developing staff.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Meet weekly with the Chief Deputy of Operations to discuss personnel, performance productivity and other goals for the unit.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Assist with short and long term strategic and succession planning for the unit.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Monitor time and attendance of subordinates\u00a0to\u00a0comply\u00a0with\u00a0leave\u00a0policies.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Monitor staff\u00a0duties and\u00a0responsibilities and adjust\u00a0as necessary to maintain workload equity.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Provide\u00a0technical\u00a0oversight\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0day-to-day\u00a0operation\u00a0of the unit\u00a0to include but not limited to the giving of instructions and resolutions,\u00a0monitoring work,approving or revising\u00a0work\u00a0product,\u00a0periodically\u00a0checking for compliance,\u00a0and developing and implementing quality control standards.\u00a0Assure adequate backup\/coverage exists and redistribute workload as needed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Serve as the subject matter expert on policies and procedures of the unit,\u00a0the clerk\u2019s office,\u00a0and the court as a whole.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ensure that policies\/procedures are kept current and updated and recommend new policies\/procedures as needed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Receive\u00a0and\u00a0review\u00a0incomingdocuments\u00a0to\u00a0determine conformity with appropriate local and\/or federal procedural rules,\u00a0practices,\u00a0guidelines and\/or other court requirements.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Act as a point-of-contact for the unit and furnish information and advice as needed to ensure and assist with the maintenance\u00a0of\u00a0positiveservice-oriented\u00a0working relationships within the unit and with all court divisions,\u00a0chambers and other agencies inside and\u00a0outside of the court.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Establish\u00a0and maintain operating reports,\u00a0work standards,\u00a0etc.,\u00a0to measure and evaluate the work and workload of department staff.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Prepare reports,\u00a0statistics,\u00a0and memoranda for the Clerk of Court and Chief Deputy Clerk as necessary.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Possess the knowledge and ability\u00a0to perform the functions of all subordinate employees as needed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Review\u00a0information\u00a0relating to pending cases to ensure that all records and reference materials are available for use by the judge and counsel.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Perform\u00a0other\u00a0administrative\u00a0and supervisory duties as\u00a0assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Required Education:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The successful candidate must possess a bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited college or university in a field closely related to the subject matter of the position.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Required Experience:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Supervisory positions are responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of employees who accomplish a particular function or functions on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">These positions involve applying technical knowledge related to the work being supervised and professional or supervisory skills related to leading a team of employees to accomplish the work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">To qualify for a supervisory position, an individual must possess a minimum of three years of specialized experience (progressively responsible administrative experience related to case intake, preparation, processing, and docketing), including at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower level below the position for which the applicant is being considered and must:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Meet the qualification standards applicable to positions for the highest level of work effectively supervised; and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Have specialized experience that includes progressively responsible administrative, technical, professional, supervisory, or managerial experience that provides an opportunity to gain:<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Skill in developing interpersonal work relationships needed to lead a team of employees,<\/li>\n<li
