Respond to and resolve public disturbances and disputes.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls:<\/strong>\u00a0Patrol officers are dispatched to a range of incidents, such as medical emergencies, alarms, traffic accidents, and reports of suspicious activity.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Conduct investigations:<\/strong>\u00a0At the scene of a crime or accident, officers conduct preliminary investigations. This includes securing the scene, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Enforce laws and issue citations:<\/strong>\u00a0Officers state and local laws and ordinances.
