Audit & Assurance Intern<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Description:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Audit and Assurance Intern<\/strong> is motivated and highly organized, responsible for executing detailed work plans, and cultivating relationships both inside the firm and with clients. CCK appreciates individuals with an advisory mindset who enjoy working with entrepreneurial clients across a wide range of industries. The audit and assurance Intern will achieve success through demonstrating inquisitiveness and mastering of basic accounting concepts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Assisting Staff and Seniors with the preparation of engagement workpapers.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Completing detailed workpaper documentation in accordance with firm and industry standards.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Remaining current with audit and accounting standards.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Identifying and communicating areas of risk within the engagement team and applying basic accounting principles.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Working directly with clients, when necessary.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Completing assigned sections of each engagement within the budgeted parameters.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Addressing review notes in a complete and timely manner.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Providing training to less experienced staff, under supervision of senior or manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Adhere to all relevant information security policies and procedures, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and upholding the integrity and confidentiality of the company information.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Performs other duties as assigned.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Strong communication skills, verbal and written.<\/p>\n

Effective time management \u2013 Working in a dynamic \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0environment with changing priorities and deadlines.<\/p>\n

Ability \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0to adapt to a wide variety of projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n
