This role is essential to connecting patients with the care they need while ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serve as the first point of contact\u2014greet patients\/clients, answer calls, and route messages.<\/p>\n<p>Schedule, verify, and confirm appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.<\/p>\n<p>Register patients, verify insurance and financial information, and determine eligibility for services.<\/p>\n<p>Collect service fees, reconcile daily transactions, and process billing.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain accurate patient health records in the EMR system.<\/p>\n<p>Support community outreach activities and collaborate with Fayette County Public Schools staff.<\/p>\n<p>Assist with first aid, vaccine storage\/handling, referrals, and immunization entry.<\/p>\n<p>Room patients and record vitals when nursing staff is unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>Translate for providers and nurses if bilingual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High school diploma (or GED) and 1 year of clerical or clinical experience, or equivalent training\/experience.<\/p>\n<p>Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge of medical office operations and patient confidentiality.<\/p>\n<p>Flexibility to work in both school clinics and main HealthFirst Bluegrass locations.<\/p>\n<p>If assigned to outreach, valid driver\u2019s license and reliable transportation required.<\/p>\n<p>Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Work With Us:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At HealthFirst Bluegrass, we believe healthcare is for everyone.
