About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

AEI Consultants is seeking an energetic and professional Entry-Level Project Manager \/ Environmental Technician<\/strong> to join our expanding Industrial Hygiene team in Walnut Creek, CA. In this role, you will perform field investigations and testing services\u2014including asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality testing\u2014while working alongside experienced industry professionals.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perform field investigation and environmental sampling techniques for Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM), Lead-Based Paint (LBP), mold, and indoor air quality.<\/p>\n

Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of environmental sampling and monitoring equipment.<\/p>\n

Prepare accurate and complete technical reports of survey findings.<\/p>\n

Acquire and maintain required environmental certifications and training for compliance.<\/p>\n

Communicate clearly and regularly with senior management, project managers, and clients.<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree (or degree candidate) in Industrial Hygiene<\/strong>, Environmental Science<\/strong>, Biology<\/strong>, Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related science fields.<\/p>\n

Experience:<\/strong> 0\u20133 years of experience\/knowledge in environmental consulting projects and sampling techniques.<\/p>\n

Skills:<\/strong> Excellent technical writing, time management, organizational, and communication skills.<\/p>\n

Work Style:<\/strong> Self-starter, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple project deadlines with senior staff guidance.<\/p>\n

Travel:<\/strong> Willingness to travel to local project sites as needed.<\/p>\n

Preferred Licenses & Certifications (Not Required to Apply):<\/strong><\/p>\n

Asbestos Inspector<\/p>\n

Mold Assessor Training \/ Licensure<\/p>\n

OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER<\/p>\n

Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Licensure<\/p>\n

Physical Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Work takes place in both indoor (offices, retail, multi-family housing) and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Ability to handle field equipment, travel independently, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.<\/p>\n
