Provides the highest level of professionalism, gracious service and treatment quality offered to our guest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PAY &amp; PERKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Compensation: $19.00\u00a0plus commission\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Earn $1000<\/strong>\u00a0for Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and\u00a0<strong>$350<\/strong>\u00a0for all other roles. for\u00a0<strong>each\u00a0<\/strong>hired\u00a0referral\u00a0at any Evans Hotels property.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Discounted Hotel Rooms<\/strong>\u00a0for you, family and friends.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Free Employee Parking<\/strong>\u00a0and\/or discounted MTS Pronto card.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Free Meals &amp; Refreshments\u00a0<\/strong>during working shifts.<\/li>\n<li>Career advancement opportunities!<\/li>\n<li>Health (including SIMNSA), Dental, Vision, 401k with match, life insurance, sick and vacation time.<\/li>\n<li>Discounts on cell phone bills, shoes, gym memberships, and more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides a positive, professional appearance and demeanor to our guests.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all state licensing standards and procedures for operation, sanitation and cleanliness.<\/li>\n<li>Assess guest contraindications that may affect their ability to safely receive services,\u00a0and based\u00a0on individual needs.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a professional, confidential practitioner-client relationship; understand and use universal precautions and code of ethics when providing services.<\/li>\n<li>Inform our guests of treatment steps to follow.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain exceptional knowledge of all services, products and ingredients and the ability to explain the benefits and recommend additional services and products.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares treatment room for upcoming treatments.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stations used, as well as restock linens and products between and at the end of each working shift.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess the ability to perform consecutive services in a pre-determined period of time.<\/li>\n<li>Work assigned schedule; begin and end all treatments on time; ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Attend all scheduled meetings and professional trainings, as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Display professional demeanor and appearance at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the facilities are well maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Follows the company&#8217;s safety and emergency procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains current credentials and licenses as required by city, county, and state regulatory agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have and maintain a current California state license or certification as a massage therapist, as required by state law<\/li>\n<li>Minimum one-year experience providing massage therapy in a luxury spa environment is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Previous similar position in a spa or hotel is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required<\/li>\n<li>Experience with body wraps, scrubs, hot stone and prenatal massage is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional attention to details, time management and customer service skills.<\/li>\n<li>Presents a caring, warm demeanor with a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced, luxury environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs<\/li>\n<li>The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>**The pay scale posted is the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position during the first year of employment.
