{"id":51218,"date":"2026-07-06T18:05:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T18:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/rental-sales-specialist\/"},"modified":"2026-08-02T08:23:31","modified_gmt":"2026-08-02T12:23:31","slug":"rental-sales-specialist","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/rental-sales-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Rental Sales Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rental Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check equipment in and out, documenting condition, hours, and completeness<\/li>\n<li>Prepare equipment for the next rental by cleaning, staging, and coordinating maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Manage rental contracts, billing, extensions, and customer documentation<\/li>\n<li>Track fleet availability, maintenance schedules, and equipment readiness<\/li>\n<li>Identify and document equipment damage, wear, or missing items<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with service personnel to minimize fleet downtime<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Equipment Sales &amp; Customer Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist customers with rental and equipment inquiries by phone, email, and in person<\/li>\n<li>Generate quotes and follow up on sales opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Sell attachments, trailers, compact tractors, mowers, and UTVs<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with customers and help identify equipment solutions<\/li>\n<li>Support cross-selling opportunities between sales, rental, parts, and service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in equipment, rental, construction, agriculture, industrial sales, or a related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working both at a desk and around equipment<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business software preferred<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license with a clean driving record<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Sanco Equipment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Sanco Equipment, we believe great people are the foundation of our success.
