This is a senior leadership role for someone who likes ownership. You will serve as the top operational leader and a key strategic partner to ownership, guiding daily operations, improving profitability, strengthening culture, and helping position the company for continued growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$125,000 \u2013 $160,000 annually based on education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Discretionary, performance-based bonus.<\/li>\n<li>Medical, dental, and prescription drug insurance; life insurance.<\/li>\n<li>401(k) retirement plan.<\/li>\n<li>Paid time off.<\/li>\n<li>Relocation assistance, if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Lead<\/strong>\u00a0day-to-day operations across production, supply chain, quality, equipment, people, and performance.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Own\u00a0<\/strong>the P&amp;L mindset, including cost control, resource planning, capital equipment decisions, and profitability improvement.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Build<\/strong>\u00a0a practical, accountable, safety-first culture from the shop floor to leadership.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Mentor<\/strong>\u00a0managers, develop future leaders, and help experienced team members and newer talent work well together.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Improve<\/strong>\u00a0throughput, reduce waste, solve bottlenecks, and bring structure where it helps.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Support\u00a0<\/strong>modernization, capacity planning, facility improvement, and potential acquisition integration.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Help\u00a0<\/strong>maintain, secure, and grow defense-related work by supporting compliance, customer confidence, and operational readiness.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Stay close<\/strong>\u00a0enough to the floor to understand what is really happening \u2014 and strategic enough to help steer what comes next.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, such as Plant Manager, Director of Operations, VP of Manufacturing, or similar required.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to defense manufacturing or government supply chains, either as a prime contractor or a Tier 1\/Tier 2 supplier is highly favored.<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is preferred; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.\u00a0<u>Hands-on manufacturing leadership matters most<\/u>.<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of industrial equipment, fabrication, machining, production flow, quality systems, and manufacturing capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading teams through growth, change, process improvement, or operational turnaround.<\/li>\n<li>A practical understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with compliance environments such as ITAR, EAR, ISO 9001:2015, NIST SP 800-171, or CMMC 2.0 is strongly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial and analytical judgment, especially around pricing, margins, capital investment, and operational performance.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with machinists, welders, managers, owners, customers, and government buyers.<\/li>\n<li>U.S. citizenship required, along with the ability to obtain a government security clearance, if required by future contractual obligations.
