We need to verify your Child Development\/Early Childhood Education units in order to move forward with your application.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">We are looking for dedicated individual to join our Early Childhood Education team as Associate Teacher. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children while supporting our mission to provide high-quality education and care.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you bring to the table:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Has 12 semester units ECE\/CD, with a grade C or better, or CDA Credential or CTC.<\/li>\n<li>Has 3 units of Infant\/Toddler courses.<\/li>\n<li>Has 6 months related experience with children ages 0-5 years of age.<\/li>\n<li>Has an Associate Teacher Permit or higher.<\/li>\n<li>HS\/EHS\/MSHS\/State-Braided Associate Teachers must also meet at least one of the following criteria:\n<ul>\n<li>Have a child development associate (CDA) credential or the California equivalent of a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit at time of hire (12 ECE semester units including core courses; and for EHS and infant\/toddler classrooms must also have 6 infant\/toddler semester units)<\/li>\n<li><strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Be enrolled in a CDA credential program that will be completed within 2 years;<\/li>\n<li><strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Have an associate or bachelor&#8217;s degree (in any area) or be enrolled in a program leading to such a degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Depending on the department assigned, a valid California driver\u2019s license, a current DMV driving record, and proof of insurance may be required to fulfill job-related travel. Reasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As an Associate Teacher you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide care and education for children ages 0-5, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Center Supervisor and Teachers to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assume the responsibilities of a Teacher in their absence, guiding and supporting instructional assistants, parents, and volunteers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in planning and executing educational activities that promote child development.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in physical activities with children, including games, music, and outdoor play.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with bus supervision, ensuring the safety and engagement of children during transportation.<\/li>\n<li>Complete pediatric first aid and pediatric CPR training within the first 30 days of hire.<\/li>\n<li>Complete 16 hours of training on preventative health practices and nutrition, as\u00a0 required by Health and Safety Code within the first 30 days of hire.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note this job advertisement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
