{"id":42233,"date":"2026-07-17T14:52:27","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T14:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/supervisory-quality-assurance-specialist\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T08:21:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T12:21:20","slug":"supervisory-quality-assurance-specialist","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/supervisory-quality-assurance-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>***Location: Atlanta, GA***<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>***THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE***<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>***U.S. Citizenship required<\/strong>***<\/p>\n<p>As a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist (Division Director), you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise multidisciplinary staff by assigning work, monitoring performance, and providing guidance on complex program and operational issues.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert advice and counsel to team members.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate contractor quality assurance activities and supports compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and operational requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and operational strategies to support program effectiveness and continuous process improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:<\/strong> You must meet the basic requirements listed below and also meet the minimum qualifications requirements.<\/p>\n<p><u>Education<\/u><br \/>Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study &#8212; quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.<\/p>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<p><u>Experience<\/u><br \/>Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5): Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas. Examples include:<br \/>\u00b7 Reviewing production activities and capabilities in light of contract quality requirements.<br \/>\u00b7 Reviewing written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy, and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality\/inspection systems, including sampling plans.<br \/>\u00b7 Analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality\/inspection system.<br \/>\u00b7 Verifying by test or inspection, using sampling inspection or intensive product inspection techniques, that products comply with requirements prior to acceptance.<br \/>\u00b7 Identifying inadequacies and requesting corrective action.<br \/>\u00b7 Computing data, summarizing results, and preparing reports or charts depicting pertinent relationships using statistical methods.<br \/>\u00b7 Investigating customer complaints and deficiency reports, and providing identification of causes to appropriate authorities.<br \/>\u00b7 Reading, interpreting, and applying technical data such as blueprints, engineering drawings, product specifications, or technical manuals.<br \/>\u00b7 Reviewing and evaluating supply systems operations and procedures through periodic audits and surveillance inspections.<\/p>\n<p>AND<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong>: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.
