Learn more about the Barron Center.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Graduation from an approved school of nursing and licensure as an RN in Maine, additional education in gerontology preferred.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Management and supervisory experience in long-term care required.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Possess ability to make independent decisions as circumstances dictate.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and the general public.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to supervise, educate, orient and mentor staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent oral and written skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Foster a positive, collaborative and respectful workplace.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Basic computer skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Willingness and ability to provide direct services to residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline Extended &#8211; Applications accepted until July 10, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical exam.
