Only candidates who complete the entire application, including questions and assessments, will be reviewed.<\/p>\n<p>The SOS Presenter is a <strong>9-month,<\/strong> <strong>part-time (20 hours per week max) <\/strong>position training students, faculty, parents, and communities with evidenced-based suicide prevention programs. Training sessions take place during the school day, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, during the regular school year months September-May. Weekly schedule and number of hours may vary based on school requests.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The responsibilities for the SOS Presenter include but are not limited to\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Conduct in person Signs of Suicide\u00ae (SOS) training sessions for middle and high schools throughout St. Louis Metro Area\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Administer, collect, and submit all program documentation to meet program expectations and deadlines.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Maintain all electronic records as specified by funder or agency.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure all training sessions are implemented to fidelity and meet highest quality standards.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Maintain working knowledge of suicide prevention, depression, self-injury, and mental health.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Meet or exceed individual program outputs and outcomes for the SOS Program.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Stay current on program changes as communicated by program leadership.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Strengthen and maintain positive working relationships with school faculty, staff, and students.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Promote and champion SOS, Family Support services and the Social Emotional Wellbeing Programs to school administrators, faculty, and students as needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Attend both agency and program staff meetings regularly.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Assist with general suicide &amp; depression awareness campaigns in the community as needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Maintain 75% impact efficiency.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Any other task as deemed necessary by the Program Manager\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a bachelor\u2019s degree in education, mental health, or related field\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>1-3 years\u2019 experience working in schools or mental health organizations a plus.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Energetic and engaging personality to engage with youth, parents, and schools.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Superior organization, time management, and record keeping skills.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge and compassion regarding suicide, anxiety, and depression.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communications skills, public speaking and\/or teaching experience a plus.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Brilliant collaborator and team-player attitude with a passion to share CHADS\u2019 mission.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Desire to work in an environment of measurable accountability.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Must have superior skills using computer applications including but not limited to Canva, Microsoft Word, Excel, and \u00a0 PowerPoint\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Available to facilitate training sessions Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, in at least 6 to 8-hour blocks. Flexibility within scheduling a \u00a0 plus.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Must possess strong presentation skills with the ability to speak in front of students.<\/li>\n<li>This position requires access to reliable transportation as some assignments are up to one hour away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SOS Presenter is a part-time (20 hours)<strong> <\/strong>position that runs Monday-Friday typically 7am-4pm, during typical school year months September \u2013 May. Occasional evening hours may be requested.
