\u2022 Assists in recruiting families.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Actively supervises all children ensuring all are within sight and sound of the employee and complies<\/p>\n
with all active supervision strategies.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Engages in activity with the children, to include constantly bending\/ squating \/ sitting at the level of the child;<\/p>\n
\u2022 Actively participates in classroom team meetings for at least one time per week for a minimum of 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assists in the pottying of children to include diapering;<\/p>\n
\u2022 Communicates with the teacher on progress of the children and other related duties.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Supervises individual\/small groups of children at an activity.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Plans, prepares, and develops various teaching aids such as games, story aids, and hands on activities for the children.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prepares the classroom for the days activities and cleans after the children leave.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Implements CLASS tool while engaging in classroom interaction and child individualization goals. \u2022 Assists children, individually or in groups with skill development to encourage learning concepts.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Encourages and supports children’s interest and goals.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Demonstrates respect for families’ values, strengths, and cultures by welcoming their contributions and participation, encouraging chidlren to talk about their families, and designing learning experiences accordingly.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Implements agency’s active supervision policy and classroom zoning plan.<\/p>\n
\u2022 May be required to substitute as teacher during any short term absences.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Responsible for the sanitation of tables and toys.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bus monitoring<\/p>\n
* Maintains credentials required for the position.<\/p>\n
\u2022 All staff are to ensure the health and safety of children at all times and report any known misconduct.<\/p>\n
