Watch Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Position: Child Watch Lead<\/p>\n<p>Wage:\u00a0$18.24 to $18.69 per hour (Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range)<\/p>\n<p>Hours:\u00a0Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week<\/p>\n<p>Location:\u00a0Tom Taylor Family YMCA, Gig Harbor, WA<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a Child Watch Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, caring, and fun learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 7 years while parents are utilizing the YMCA facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).<\/li>\n<li>Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.<\/li>\n<li>High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>One year or more of related experience (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working with children of all ages preferably in a program setting and diverse populations.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and skills in program activities and related office equipment, and the ability to instruct youth classes in sports, games, and activities.<\/li>\n<li>Possess the knowledge and skills needed to support youth staff and classes.<\/li>\n<li>Current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (preferred)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a safe, caring, and fun learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years while parents are utilizing the YMCA facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and support the supervision of the Child Watch program under the directions of the Program Director.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a quality experience focused on
