As a Para Educator, you\u2019ll help ensure student safety, support learning, and contribute to a healing environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>see full job description at time of interview<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support instruction aligned with academic goals and IEPs\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Assist with classroom activities (PE, horticulture, etc.)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Help with morning routines in the dormitory\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide behavioral support and substitute lessons\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Maintain documentation (attendance, service logs, etc.)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Supervise transitions, lunch, and dismissal\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Participate in community-based activities and appointments\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Transport students and staff using school vehicles\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Attend required trainings and maintained CPR\/First Aid, TCI certifications\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Uphold confidentiality and communicate effectively\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Represent VPI professionally to families and external partners\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follow all company policies and procedures\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>Age 21+\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED (Associate\u2019s or higher preferred)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience working with youth (e.g., camp counselor, coach, babysitter)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Strong confidentiality and communication skills\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and clean driving record\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Bennington, VT?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bennington is the largest town in southern Vermont, known for its\u202fhistoric charm,\u202faffordable living, and\u202feasy access to nature.
