\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Current MA State License as a Occupational Therapy Assistant<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a graduate of an AOTA approved Occupational Therapy Assistant Program<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Must comply with state, federal and AOTA standards of practice when planning and carrying out treatment programs and other functions of a occupational therapy assistant.\u00a0<\/p>\n Responsibilities for Occupational Therapy Assistant:<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide day to day treatment generally including but not limited to training in: self care, funcitonal transfers, funcitonal ambulation, home living skills, perceptual and cognitive activities, and strengthening, balance and coordination activities<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Communicates with other disciplines as needed in order to enhance interdisciplinary team rapport and improve patient care<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in home visits when appropriate, facmily conferences when appriopriate, and in community awareness and marketing activities when appropriate\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Provide necessary documentation in the residents medical record<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provides treatment as indicated by plan of treatment<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Communicate with other disciplines and interacts with staff as necessary, as indicated by the treatment plan<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide routine documentation and changes to treatments according in a timely mannor according to policy<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supervises rehab and restorative aids regarding patient treatments, ROM, resorative feeding groups and positioning of patients<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Record and submit in timely fashion all required documentation and treatment charges, according to policy and procedure<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meets department standards of completion of discharge charts, uncluding
