{"id":24172,"date":"2026-06-03T17:51:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T17:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/industrial-hygiene-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T08:31:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T12:31:13","slug":"industrial-hygiene-manager","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/industrial-hygiene-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Industrial Hygiene Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Major Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise or\u00a0monitor\u00a0projects relating to\u00a0environmental exposures to multiple chemical and physical hazards\u00a0to ensure that work is executed\u00a0safely,\u00a0on time and\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0company policies,\u00a0procedures\u00a0and\u00a0established standards\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the maintenance\u00a0and\u00a0required\u00a0communication of\u00a0exposure records.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Analyze data and provide recommendations for corrective actions to address identified hazards.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership\u00a0regarding\u00a0trends, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and assess workplace hazards,\u00a0recommend\u00a0appropriate control\u00a0measures\u00a0and track action items.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Perform onsite investigations for indoor air quality complaints\u00a0across the enterprise.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Perform risk assessments for various chemical,\u00a0physical\u00a0or biological\u00a0hazards and processes and make recommendations\u00a0to\u00a0improve teammate safety and compliance\u00a0with federal and state regulations.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide\u00a0industrial hygiene\u00a0expertise\u00a0and\u00a0assistance\u00a0to\u00a0departments,\u00a0projects\u00a0and contractors.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and review all industrial hygiene-related\u00a0virtual and in-person training\u00a0as needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure acquisition,\u00a0maintenance\u00a0and\u00a0proper\u00a0utilization\u00a0of\u00a0industrial hygiene equipment\u00a0such as:\u00a0noise dosimeters, indoor air quality analyzers, moisture meters, heat stress equipment, etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Review industrial hygiene equipment needs for all markets.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Serve as\u00a0Advocate\u00a0Health representative to outside regulatory and compliance agencies\u00a0as needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Regularly review and update industrial hygiene policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing regulations\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill all HR responsibilities including interviewing, selecting,\u00a0developing\u00a0and\u00a0managing\u00a0a team of certified industrial hygienists\u00a0located\u00a0in multiple states and markets.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Designs and directs the work of the team(s). Selects, coaches, and develops\u202fteam(s).\u202fSets\u202fclear expectations to inspire and motivate the team.
