status<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Essential Functions<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitors the daily care of all residents<\/li>\n<li>Performs skilled nursing tasks as defined by company policy and procedure, and as allowed by state law<\/li>\n<li>Documents observations, concerns, and changes in resident conditions, incidents, and\/or accidents, and ensure that follow-up documentation occurs until the issue is resolved.<br \/>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Communicates resident needs and concerns to family members and physicians<br \/>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with family members, physicians, and other outside healthcare providers<\/li>\n<li>Records and implements physician orders<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that information and interventions recorded on resident service plans are implemented by Caregivers<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that Medication Aides are maintaining an orderly medication cart, medication room, and accurate medication administration records<\/li>\n<li>Receives reports from caregivers before the end of the shift<\/li>\n<li>Provides status reports to oncoming Staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Supervisory\/Management<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in shift assignments and ensures that assigned duties are completed in a satisfactory manner<\/li>\n<li>Monitors care staff performance for compliance with established policies and procedures, and to ensure quality resident care<\/li>\n<li>Manages shift coverage when staff members call in sick for the oncoming shift<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for scheduling and other staffing duties, as requested<\/li>\n<li>Deals appropriately with a family member and visitor concerns or complaints, documenting the issues and actions taken through the appropriate reporting mechanism<\/li>\n<li>Manages minor physical plant issues that arise during assigned shifts, reporting as necessary to Maintenance Director and Administrator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum Eligibility Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current state LPN\/LVN or RN License if required by State<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting<\/li>\n<li>Previous supervisory experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff<\/li>\n<li>Strong documentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional
