Alliance Orthopedics, an industry-leading multidisciplinary practice, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician <\/strong>to guide patients through therapeutic exercise and assist with rehabilitation protocols. To be successful in this role, a Rehabilitation Technician must be positive, energetic, and compassionate when working with a wide variety of patients.<\/p>\n

Summary of Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Assist patients to and from the waiting area and therapy area<\/p>\n

Lift and move patients with mobility issues from tables and chairs<\/p>\n

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises assigned by the Physical Therapist(s)<\/p>\n

Assist with patient progression through the use of PPTs: Physical Performance Testing (Functional Movement Screening\/ computerized strength testing\/ balance assessments)<\/p>\n

Set up applicable therapy equipment and modalities as required<\/p>\n

Continuously sanitize therapy areas after every patient<\/p>\n

Assist the floor staff with inventory and product replenishment<\/p>\n

Assist patients as they complete their functional rehabilitation programs<\/p>\n

Maintain a safe and steady flow of patients as individuals finish up and arrive on site<\/p>\n

Monitor patients’ progress during sessions and collaborate with provider for progression\/regression in PT program(s)<\/p>\n

Maintain open communication with fellow rehabilitation technicians, Athletic Trainers, and floor staff<\/p>\n

Report patient signs or symptoms to the provider(s) and administrative staff<\/p>\n

Comply with company rules, regulations, and procedures<\/p>\n

Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested<\/p>\n

Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhering to company policies regarding<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or already obtained a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field<\/p>\n

Minimum 1 year experience or equivalent<\/p>\n

Physical strength to lift and move patients<\/p>\n

Patience and compassion<\/p>\n

Excellent interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
