Guest Operations:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain a strong presence in the restaurant; ensure guests are greeted at the door and their orders are taken promptly and correctly<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Personally respond to all guest complaints<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Closely monitor guest dining experiences<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Build positive clientele relationships with repeat guests<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Create and maintain bar menus<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Monitor food and beverage presentations and monitor expediting process<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Report all restaurant complaints and communicate day-to-day matters to general manager; read and review daily guest survey responses<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain and promote cleanliness standards, quality control, hygiene, health and safety<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure cleanliness of restaurant and bar areas before, during and after meal periods<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Coordinate opening and closing procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Requisition of restaurant supplies (candles, menus, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>2. Personnel Management:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Design weekly schedules<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Train all staff for job competence and ensure staff is aware of restaurant policies and procedures including service standard for F&amp;B and guest service standards<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Manage and remediate all staff conflicts, including disciplinary action<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Manage hiring and termination procedures, including interviews and staffing decisions using company procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Train, supervise, and monitor food sanitation and safety procedures in the dining rooms, bar and service areas<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Train and monitor compliance of staff with guest check procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure all employees adhere to code of conduct and company\u2019s uniform standards, as defined in the IOA handbook<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure alcohol awareness programs, such as TIPS, are followed<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel and restaurant, including but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrate the leadership qualities as outlined in the Hospitality Partners Leadership Job Requirement Chart<\/p>\n<p>3. Inventory Management\/Financials:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain and order proper amounts of wines, liquor, beer etc. for restaurant and banquet<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Check and monitor inventory on weekly\/monthly basis<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Supervise settlement of guest bills in accordance to hotel and\/or restaurant policy<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Achieve and maintain budgeted covers and create goals to strive to improve over the year<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Follow up on accounting issues and resolve accordingly<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assist with design and implementation of experiential packages<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Manage cash drawer throughout the shift and during opening\/closing procedures, as necessary<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Conduct P&amp;L analysis and monthly variance report<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Complete weekly payroll<\/p>\n<p>4.
