Applicants who reside in any other state would be required to be physically located in and provide a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia prior to starting work for Wolf Trap Foundation.\u00a0If applicant cannot be onsite on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, an onsite schedule should be discussed if contacted for an interview.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION:<\/strong>\u00a0The Intern, Fundraising Data &amp; Systems, supports the Systems Management team of the Development Department of Wolf Trap Foundation, assisting with the maintenance and organization of our donor database, routine data cleanup, reporting, and other administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in non-profit arts administration in development, information technology, data administration, and\/or data analytics.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the maintenance and organization of the donor database, including data entry, updating records, and generating reports<\/li>\n<li>Enter and maintain confidential membership data into Blackbaud Raiser\u2019s Edge NXT, the department\u2019s donor tracking software<\/li>\n<li>Complete data clean up tasks, including reviewing and merging of duplicate records and records of constituents confirmed as deceased<\/li>\n<li>Build reports, and other tasks to ensure donor data is accurate and private<\/li>\n<li>Review and confirm accuracy of data in constituent records, and support the archival processes for records that should be removed from the database<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Development Data &amp; Systems Specialist to create internal training and troubleshooting resources for using and managing the Blackbaud Raiser\u2019s Edge database<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the cleaning up of various other data health projects as needed<\/li>\n<li>Support the building of donor reports, gift entry, and\/or processing of acknowledgment letters as needed<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or strongly interested in pursuing a career in a relevant field (e.g., non-profit management, arts administration, data analytics, database administration, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) database is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel<\/li>\n<li>Interest in learning Microsoft Power Platform, Application Programming Interface (API), and other AI tools<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to organizational processes to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think creatively, and work both independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Sensitivity to the mission of the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts<\/li>\n<li>Understand the importance of and be able to maintain confidential information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For additional information, contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:internships@wolftrap.org\">internships@wolftrap.org<\/a> with questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate students (must have completed at least\u00a01 year of undergraduate study)<\/li>\n<li>Graduate students<\/li>\n<li>Recent graduates (up to 2 years out of school)<\/li>\n<li>Career-changers currently enrolled in a degree program<\/li>\n<li>International students (J-1 or F-1 Visa required)<\/li>\n<li>Must be physically located in and have a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia for the duration of their employment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75 percent of the time<\/li>\n<li>Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment (i.e. calculator, copier, printer, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally required to walk, stoop, bend and reach with arms<\/li>\n<li>Lift\/move up to 10 pounds infrequently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is an Equal Opportunity Employer. \u00a0We are committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment that embraces and encourages different perspectives. \u00a0We work to reflect and be representative of the communities in which we serve and in which we reside. \u00a0Qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans who need assistance or an accommodation in our job application processes should contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:HR@wolftrap.org\">hr@wolftrap.org<\/a>.
