A typical database analyst\/programmer is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and our central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements.<br \/>Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis to enable data driven decisions across our team and with partner teams. (e.g. using Tableau, etc.)<br \/>Build and optimize ETL processes to run marketing campaigns at scale and automate the campaign reporting<br \/>Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables<br \/>Partner with our analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and rectify data integrity \/ accuracy issues across our reporting, data infrastructure, dashboards<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><br \/>5+ years of experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.)<br \/>Experience building\/operating distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets from multiple sources.<br \/>Experience in ETL design, implementation and maintenance.<br \/>Experience with Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.) and report automation<br \/>Experience using Python and R<br \/>Self-starter with flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations<br \/>Experience working in organizations with cross-functional teams<br \/>Experience working independently and a track record of taking initiative<br \/>Interpersonal skills \u2014 including written and oral communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>Top 3 must-have HARD skills:<br \/>&#8211; Experience in AI-centric organizations or using AI tools<br \/>&#8211; SQL<br \/>&#8211; Can build pipelines- guide team on best practices<br \/>&#8211; show leadership and work independently<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good to have skills:<\/strong><br \/>Years of experience required<br \/>Key performance measurements<br \/>Degrees or certifications required<br \/>Disqualifiers ideal profile- big tech, think data engineer with analyst ability big plus. Must have a proven record of building pipeline and SQL.
