Position Summary
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Our client is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to support the Data Modernization Program by designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure, landing zones, and CI\/CD automation pipelines.\u00a0
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, automation, security controls, and release management.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0The Azure DevOps Engineer will work closely with architects, developers, security teams, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure reliable and compliant platform operations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Design, build, and maintain Azure Landing Zone environments supporting enterprise cloud modernization initiatives.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Develop and manage CI\/CD pipelines for data platform, application, integration, and reporting solutions using Azure DevOps.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar automation technologies.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources across Development, Test, Stage, and Production environments.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Establish and maintain secure deployment practices aligned with organizational security and compliance requirements.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Configure and manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, storage, and identity management components.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Implement role-based access control (RBAC), managed identities, Key Vault integration, and secrets management processes.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Support deployment and operational management of Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Dataverse, Power Platform, and related Azure services.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Develop monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards to support platform reliability and performance.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Collaborate with security, architecture, and development teams to implement governance, compliance, and operational standards.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Support release management, change management, and environment promotion processes.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline-related issues and implement corrective actions.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational readiness planning activities.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Provide recommendations for DevOps best practices, automation improvements, and cloud optimization opportunities.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a05+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, or related roles.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Strong experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience building and managing CI\/CD pipelines for enterprise applications and data platforms.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity management, and governance controls.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience with Git-based source control and branching strategies.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and operational support processes.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience supporting enterprise data modernization or cloud transformation programs.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience working in government, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
