{"id":20625,"date":"2026-05-29T14:45:32","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T14:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/respiratory-therapy-technician\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T11:52:01","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:52:01","slug":"respiratory-therapy-technician","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/respiratory-therapy-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"Respiratory Therapy Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>***$5,000 Sign On Bonus***<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GENERAL DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Respiratory Therapy Technician assumes responsibility and accountability to provide bedside respiratory care to patients as assigned by supervisor and given on the physician&#8217;s written order for both in house and out patient care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; TRAINING REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Must be a graduate of an approved school of respiratory care.<\/p>\n<p>Must be registered, or registry eligible, certified or certified eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Must possess current Iow state license.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to meeting the educational and\/or license requirement(s) associated with this position, must be able to provide documentation (copy of transcript or diploma) to verify completion of education. At a minimum, documentation provided must be for High School or GED equivalency, but more advanced diplomas are also accepted for other levels of education completed.<\/p>\n<p>CPR Certification required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One year prior professional Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others.<\/p>\n<p>Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.
