{"id":20611,"date":"2026-05-29T15:08:20","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T15:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/certified-occupational-therapy-assistant\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T11:51:39","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:51:39","slug":"certified-occupational-therapy-assistant","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/certified-occupational-therapy-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.<\/p>\n<p>Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forward<\/li>\n<li>Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)<\/li>\n<li>Currently registered\/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.<\/li>\n<li>One (1) year experience preferred; <strong>new grads welcome to apply<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
