This blended role will provide event coverage at Cerro Gordo High School as well as Cross Fit Coaching at our KMC Active locations in Monticello &amp; Cerro Gordo. If you\u00a0have a passion for\u00a0injury prevention and the overall health of our rural population, then this could be the perfect fit!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job<\/strong> <strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong> \u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primary event coverage at Cerro Gordo. Sports include football, volleyball, cross country, girls\u2019 and boys\u2019 basketball.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Support backup event coverage at Argenta Oreana &amp; Deland-Weldon high schools.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance to the coaching staff in the development and implementation of conditioning programs. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-site injury care and evaluation as well as appropriate transportation, follow up, and rehabilitation as necessary for all injuries sustained by student athletes. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>With physician oversight, determine when an athlete may safely return to full participation post-injury. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Regular CrossFit coaching as needed based on availability.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Selection and maintenance of athletic training equipment &amp; supplies. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Be an advocate for the local adult and student athlete population. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current state of Illinois Athletic Training License in good standing\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Current BOC in good standing\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Current CPR Certification\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer knowledge\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Current CrossFit L1 or higher or ability to achieve within 12\u00a0months of hire\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>32 hours PTO effective date of hire\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Paid Cross Fit Certification Course \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance effective date of hire\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Generous 401(k) match effective after 90 days\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Quality\/Goal incentive annually\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Free Wellness Program\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Kirby Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
