This role focuses on providing respectful personal care, companionship, and support while encouraging independence, comfort, and quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with daily personal cares and hygiene needs<\/li>\n<li>Provide support with dressing, grooming, toileting, showers, and other routine care tasks<\/li>\n<li>Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interaction and activities<\/li>\n<li>Accompany client on outings and community activities<\/li>\n<li>Spend time outdoors, as he enjoys nature and being outside<\/li>\n<li>Help maintain a calm, positive, and safe environment<\/li>\n<li>Support mobility and daily routines as needed<\/li>\n<li>Light housekeeping related to client care<\/li>\n<li>Monitor comfort, mood, and overall wellbeing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ideal Candidate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patient, kind, and dependable<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with nonverbal individuals<\/li>\n<li>Enjoys outdoor activities and being active in the community<\/li>\n<li>Observant and able to communicate through nonverbal cues and routines<\/li>\n<li>Respectful, open-minded, and compassionate<\/li>\n<li>Previous caregiving or DSP experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license preferred for outings and appointments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Schedule:<\/p>\n<p>Flexible scheduling available.
