What You\u2019ll Do:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provide psychopharmacological services, including prescribing medications in accordance with written protocols.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Conduct psychiatric and physical assessments, history-taking, and differential diagnoses.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor patient symptoms and medication side effects.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Serve as the primary point of referral for medical evaluations.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Offer crisis intervention and management of chronic mental health issues.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Educate patients and families on prevention and treatment.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Master\u2019s Degree in Psychiatric\/Mental Health Nursing.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 APRN licensure in the State of Kansas as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric\/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficiency with modern technology (e.g., computers, EMRs, telehealth platforms).<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Commitment to continuous professional development.<\/p>\n
