The Licensed Clinician is responsible for delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based assessment, treatment, and care coordination services that support behavioral health stabilization, reduce system involvement, and improve family functioning.<\/p>\n<p>The role includes individual, group, and family therapy; clinical consultation; and collaboration with court personnel and community partners to support successful youth outcomes and community reintegration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i><strong>Clinical Services<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide outpatient behavioral health services, including <strong>individual, group, and family therapy<\/strong>, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct <strong>comprehensive clinical assessments<\/strong>, including biopsychosocial evaluations, risk\/needs assessments, and treatment planning.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement <strong>individualized treatment plans<\/strong> with measurable goals aligned with court involvement and family needs.<\/li>\n<li>Provide <strong>crisis intervention and stabilization services\u00a0<\/strong>as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups targeting areas such as emotional regulation, substance use, family dynamics, and pro-social skill development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><strong>Family and Systems Work<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage families as active participants in treatment, providing <strong>family therapy and caregiver support.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Juvenile Office staff, courts, schools, and community providers to ensure <strong>coordinated, multidisciplinary care.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Support youth in transitioning successfully back into the community through <strong>continuity of care and discharge planning.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><strong>Consultation, Training, and Program Support<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide <strong>clinical consultation<\/strong> to Juvenile Office staff regarding behavioral health, crisis response, and youth engagement strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deliver <strong>trainings on mental health, trauma, and evidence-based practices<\/strong> for internal staff.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and coordinate <strong>external training opportunities<\/strong> to enhance staff knowledge and program effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives within the outpatient clinical unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><strong>Documentation and Compliance<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain <strong>accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation<\/strong>, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to <strong>state, federal, and ethical standards<\/strong>, including confidentiality (HIPAA) and applicable juvenile justice guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize data systems to track service delivery, outcomes, and program performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><strong>Professional Development and Collaboration<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remain current on emerging research, best practices, and treatment modalities relevant to juvenile justice and behavioral health.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate professionalism, ethical practice, and <strong>collaborative engagement<\/strong> with multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a positive team culture that emphasizes <strong>communication, accountability, and shared goals.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participate in special projects, committees, and additional assignments as needed to support program operations.<\/p>\n<p>Support leadership and program initiatives as assigned.<\/p>\n<p>Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and required reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Faxes, prints and files related documents<\/p>\n<p>Duties and responsibilities may be changed, expanded, reduced, or deleted to meet the business needs of Greene County Family\/Juvenile Court.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in <strong>Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Current licensure in Missouri as a <strong>Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC)\u00a0<\/strong>or <strong>Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)<\/strong> (or license-eligible with supervision plan, if applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of <strong>two (2) years of clinical experience<\/strong>, preferably with youth and families involved in the juvenile justice or child welfare systems.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience providing <strong>evidence-based and trauma-informed care.<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>community mental health resources<\/strong> and Missouri Medicaid systems preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in electronic documentation systems and standard office software.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of adolescent development, behavioral health disorders, and family systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to apply <strong>clinical judgment<\/strong> in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in <strong>crisis intervention, de-escalation, and conflict resolution<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively within a <strong>court-involved, multidisciplinary environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to analyze information, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing needs.<\/li>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders, including court personnel, families, and community partners.<\/li>\n<li>A valid Missouri Motor Vehicle Operator\u2019s license is
