{"id":20155,"date":"2025-09-05T13:45:59","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T13:45:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/behavior-consultant-specialist\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T11:36:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:36:20","slug":"behavior-consultant-specialist","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/behavior-consultant-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Behavior Consultant\/Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Behavior Consultant ABA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Behavior Consultant in Chester County, PA!<\/p>\n<p><strong>RATE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$60 per hour &#8211; Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SUMMARY:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA) is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BC-ABA needs throughout Chester County, PA!<\/li>\n<li>BC-ABA clinicians may work during school, after-school, or evening hours depending on County program needs.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible scheduling for work\/life balance!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders. These disorders include, but are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the diagnosed child to take a more positive role in the school, home &amp; community setting.<\/li>\n<li>Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and \/ or school.<\/li>\n<li>Train the Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on appropriate therapeutic interventions.<\/li>\n<li>Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).<\/li>\n<li>Cases are typically authorized 2- 3 hours per week for each client&#8217;s family based on medical necessity, and can build a caseload of multiple clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>EDUCATION \/ EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field\n<ul>\n<li>Must have ABA coursework related to behavior theories, protocols, techniques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated work experience with children with ASD<\/li>\n<li>Supervisory experience &#8211; preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CREDENTIALS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>(Clearances within 12 months)<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance<\/li>\n<li>PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance<\/li>\n<li>FBI Department of Human Service background clearance &#8211; Service code: 1KG738<\/li>\n<li>TB screening &#8211; current within 3 months<\/li>\n<li>Professional Liability Insurance<\/li>\n<li>PA Behavior Specialist License &#8211; license must be active<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>The Behavior Consultant \/ BC-ABA position is an independent contract (1099) position.
