The goal of the position is to maintain a safe, secure atmosphere conducive to the youth\u2019s positive growth and change. This includes teaching daily and independent living skills, mentoring and promoting community integration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to plan and engage youth in activities<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrated decision making, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written, including attention to detail<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Form therapeutic relationships with youth and families<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Work with a culturally and economically diverse population<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of group dynamics preferred<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree in Human Services preferred<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum 1 year of experience working with at risk youth preferred<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 TCI, First Aid\/CPR certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Flexible availability required including night and weekend hours<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Must have a current and valid driver&#8217;s license with acceptable\u00a0driving\u00a0history to the Agency<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 MS Office skills required<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Schedule Opening:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saturday: 3 pm to 11 pm | Sunday: 2 pm to 10 pm | Monday: 8 am to 4 pm | Tuesday: 2 pm to 10 pm | Wednesday: 11 am to 7 pm<br \/>Thursday &amp; Friday OFF<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paid Orientation &amp; Training<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All new hires must complete 2-3 weeks of mandatory, fully paid training to ensure you are set up for success!<\/p>\n<p>This program is held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM \u2013 5:00 PM.
