{"id":20064,"date":"2026-05-28T13:44:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T13:44:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/customer-experience-specialist\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T11:30:37","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:30:37","slug":"customer-experience-specialist","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/customer-experience-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Customer Experience Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Summary\/Purpose of the Position:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br \/>The Customer Experience Specialist\u00a0is responsible for\u00a0interacting with the company\u2019s customers by addressing inquiries, requests for information, and reconciling and updating information as\u00a0required.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Duties,\u00a0Functions\u00a0and\/or Responsibilities:\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Handle incoming phone calls from our 800 numbers\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Assist\u00a0customers with placing orders and providing quotes over the phone\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Assist\u00a0in managing our shared customer support inbox by responding to customer inquiries\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perform general account management to our smaller, unassigned accounts\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Provide order status to customers via phone or email\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Provide assistance to\u00a0our customers via web chat\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Respond appropriately to customer requests for information\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Indirectly responsible for product quality\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perform other duties,\u00a0and tasks as assigned\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Education and\/or Work Experience Requirements:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High School Diploma or\u00a0GED\u00a0required\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>AA in business\u00a0is preferred\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>3+\u00a0years of sales related customer service tasks and responsibilities\u00a0is\u00a0required\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication both verbally and in writing\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Attention to detail\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft Office skills and knowledge (data entry)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Prior experience\u00a0utilizing\u00a0an ERP system\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ability to\u00a0safely and successfully perform essential job functions\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and\/or quantitative productivity standards\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ability to\u00a0maintain\u00a0regular and\u00a0timely\u00a0attendance\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>This position requires applicants to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship;
