This role acts as a collaborative partner to hiring managers, streamlining sourcing and screening while reinforcing the importance of a human-centered candidate experience. In addition to recruitment, the specialist supports onboarding to ensure a seamless new hire transition, contributes to compensation and offer development, and helps elevate Byrne\u2019s employer brand through thoughtful outreach, messaging, and engagement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent and emulate the Byrne brand in all aspects of recruitment.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute innovative, AI-assisted talent acquisition strategies, managing the end-to-end recruitment process.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously improve the recruiting process and candidate experience using AI and automation tools.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, build a strong employer brand, and attract top-tier talent.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct candidate phone screens, acting as an empathetic and informed HR agent who ensures a positive and professional experience.<\/li>\n<li>Source active and passive candidates through social media, cold calling, and email.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and facilitate internal and external interviews, and thoughtfully deliver feedback to candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on effective interview techniques and partner with hiring managers on their candidate interactions throughout the hiring process.<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with industry associations, community organizations, and job placement services.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely follow-up with candidates, manage the applicant tracking system, and create\/recap recruiting metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Implement onboarding programs in line with company culture and values.<\/li>\n<li>Streamline and enhance the onboarding experience, coordinating with departments to ensure efficiency and cultural alignment.<\/li>\n<li>Draft and refine offer letters and compensation materials in partnership with HR, using benchmarking data and available AI tools.<\/li>\n<li>All other duties as assigned, including event planning and participation, content creation, assistance to the HR Operations team with ongoing projects, employee relations, and employee support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills\/Experience Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills, particularly during phone screens, interviews, and candidate updates<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated curiosity and comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, resume screeners, sourcing platforms)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take direction while offering original solutions and insights<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mindset with a desire to improve systems and hiring outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple roles and timelines<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ATS tools, and CRM platforms preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_ch_employer_id":"20027","_ch_external_id":"11084405","_ch_location_state":"","_ch_location_city":"","_ch_is_ocr_job":"","_ch_expiration_date":"2026-06-28","_ch_apply_link":"https:\/\/monmouth.joinhandshake.com\/jobs\/11084405\/share_preview"},"ch_stakeholder":[],"ch_class_year":[],"ch_job_category":[86],"ch_career_skill":[],"ch_industry":[53],"class_list":["post-20028","ch_job","type-ch_job","status-publish","hentry","ch_job_category-full-time","ch_industry-communication-marketing-arts-entertainment"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job\/20028","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ch_job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20028"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"ch_stakeholder","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_stakeholder?post=20028"},{"taxonomy":"ch_class_year","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_class_year?post=20028"},{"taxonomy":"ch_job_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job_category?post=20028"},{"taxonomy":"ch_career_skill","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_career_skill?post=20028"},{"taxonomy":"ch_industry","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_industry?post=20028"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
