{"id":19998,"date":"2026-05-27T20:29:33","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T20:29:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/newscast-production-assistant\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T11:28:58","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T15:28:58","slug":"newscast-production-assistant","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/newscast-production-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Newscast Production Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WSET ABC 13 in Lynchburg, Virginia has an exciting opportunity for a Newscast Production Assistant.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities include:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare studio for weeknight and weekend evening newscasts<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining studio<\/li>\n<li>Operation of robotic cameras<\/li>\n<li>Teleprompter operator<\/li>\n<li>Other duties and shifts as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Will be trained on Ross Overdrive to be a fill-in director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Experience:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience is not necessary, but education and\/or internship in television or related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>Training will be provided<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>General Hours:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will be scheduled 32.5 hours per week<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work weekday evening and weekend evening shifts<\/li>\n<li>Other hours as needed, on occasion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EEO AND INCLUSIVITY:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
