This position is designed to provide flexible support in areas where 1st shift capacity is greatest, carrying forward unfinished priorities, open needs, and departmental expectations into the evening hours.\u00a0 This role is responsible for coordinating all assigned duties associated with Shipping and Stockroom processes including the issuing of material requirements through LN. You will have daily directions at the beginning of shifts and a clear understanding of what the current daily needs are and how to effectively communicate those needs to the 2nd shift supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>A strong work ethic, adaptability, and a proactive mindset are essential, as this position requires the ability to independently identify, prioritize, and act on areas needing immediate attention without direction from supervision present. Effective problem-solving, cross-functional awareness, and consistent communication between shifts are the cornerstones of this role.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; AUTHORITIES <\/strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shipping<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Run &amp; maintain foam machines to fill internal and external shipping requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pack incoming units to Finished Goods following Material Instructions and using BarTrac for Bar Code scanning to ensure all accessories are accounted for.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Computer processing thru LN as well as UPS- FEDX \u2013 or LTL carrier.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pack using pallets, edge protectors and strapping.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain supplies needed for packing a variety of models.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain Maintenance Logs for equipment used for packing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must adhere to all Safety and Company regulations, including safety glasses and steel toe shoes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain all supplies associated with packing, labelling and shipping.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong Communication skills are required between this position and three area supervisors to ensure continuity and solid workflow.\u00a0 Correspond internally via phone, email or teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Account for daily processed orders to be sent to accounting for invoicing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must adhere to all Safety and Company regulations, including safety glasses and steel toe shoes.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stockroom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Accurately pick, package and label material required for Production, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing and Engineering. (Putting a focus on DTC and internal pick parts)<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assure that all material is picked correctly, labelled clearly and packaged properly then delivered to the appropriate location for use.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Transact material into LN from the stockroom to the point of use before distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Physically transfer parts and associated documents (if applicable) to the correct department or work center.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Retrieve and replenish material required for gravity racks in production area.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fulfil material shortages before preparing for put away.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Carousel duties in picking parts for second shift area and larger order shipments being sent out to external locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Train associates the process of preparation or distribution of material from bulk or carousel locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oversee Carousel daily processing including training.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain Forklift, Reach Stacker and Hoist certifications to ensure safe and effective use.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain FIFO and Shelf Life requirements when pulling material.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keep account of all supplies and equipment necessary to handle material safely, within an ESD environment while maintaining a clean work area at all times.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adhere to all Safety, Quality, Environment, Security and Employee Handbook regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong Communication skills are required between this position and three area supervisors to ensure continuity and solid workflow.
