Our Fulton plant is presently seeking an <strong>Industrial Engineer<\/strong> to support our continuous improvement strategy on our World Class Operations department.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assist with or lead projects and initiatives to improve production processes, manufacturing efficiencies and product quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prepare new product cost estimates to assist with securing new business.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare capital expenditure proposals (CEPs) to improve production processes and\/or service to our customers.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain current and create new Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routings for all production items.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and coordinate experimental work orders (EWOs) to test new materials and\/or processes.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare monthly production standards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Machine Efficiency Indicators (MEIs) reports.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method Sheets, One Point Lessons and conduct training with personnel as needed.<\/p>\n<p>Investigate process and machine efficiency trends to identify new opportunities for improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and lead World Class Operations (WCO) and continuous improvement projects to meet operational improvement objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Conduct ergonomic studies, time studies and support Safety projects and initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Other duties may be assigned.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Required<\/i><\/p>\n<p>B.S. in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering discipline<\/p>\n<p>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft programs, especially Excel and Access<\/p>\n<p>Working knowledge with creating queries and Visual Basic macros are desirable<\/p>\n<p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n<p>Strong analytical skills<\/p>\n<p>Statistical process control, 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employee will work in a manufacturing\/office environment.\u00a0 Requires occasional sitting (40%), occasional standing (20%) and occasional walking (40%).\u00a0\u00a0 Requires twisting, stooping\/bending, squatting\/kneeling, and reaching above, at or below shoulders.\u00a0 Requires lifting\/carrying up to 10 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 25 lbs.\u00a0 Required safety equipment in manufacturing production area:\u00a0 hair\/beard net, safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toe or composite toe shoes<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_ch_employer_id":"19766","_ch_external_id":"11075599","_ch_location_state":"","_ch_location_city":"","_ch_is_ocr_job":"","_ch_expiration_date":"2026-06-26","_ch_apply_link":"https:\/\/monmouth.joinhandshake.com\/jobs\/11075599\/share_preview"},"ch_stakeholder":[],"ch_class_year":[],"ch_job_category":[86],"ch_career_skill":[],"ch_industry":[52],"class_list":["post-19767","ch_job","type-ch_job","status-publish","hentry","ch_job_category-full-time","ch_industry-business-finance-real-estate"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job\/19767","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ch_job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=19767"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"ch_stakeholder","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_stakeholder?post=19767"},{"taxonomy":"ch_class_year","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_class_year?post=19767"},{"taxonomy":"ch_job_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job_category?post=19767"},{"taxonomy":"ch_career_skill","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_career_skill?post=19767"},{"taxonomy":"ch_industry","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_industry?post=19767"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
