{"id":19595,"date":"2026-06-23T15:14:29","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T15:14:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/education-intern-2\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T10:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T14:54:09","slug":"education-intern-2","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/education-intern-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Education Intern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Internship Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Capital Jewish Museum is seeking an education intern to work as part of the education team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assist with the development and implementation of new and ongoing public programs for families and adults<br \/>\u2022 Develop digital and print educational resources related to ongoing and special exhibitions for intergenerational audiences<br \/>\u2022 Create educational and promotional social media posts (photo &amp; video) for youth and adult programs and assist with outreach.<br \/>\u2022 Train as a tour guide<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an education, public history, museum studies, museum education, Jewish studies program, or a related field<br \/>\u2022 Undergraduate Degree required.<br \/>\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br \/>\u2022 Motivation and ability to work independently as part of a small but highly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment<br \/>\u2022 Experience working with kids and families in an informal education setting<br \/>\u2022 Familiar with DC history and the cultural landscape<br \/>\u2022 Proficiency with Canva preferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The internship will be for the Fall semester, September-December 2026, with the possibility of extension into the Spring. Applicants interested in a year-long internship from September to April may indicate their interest in their cover letter. This is an in-person internship totaling 200 hours. Hybrid options are also possible, but in-person hours are required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The stipend for this internship is $2,200.
