Interns gain exposure to real-world Engineering and Administrative projects within a dynamic, international manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internship Opportunities:\u00a0<\/strong>Co-op students may be placed in a variety of departments, which include Engineering: Process Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Quality Engineering, EHS Engineering. Business:\u00a0Human Resources, Finance\/Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, Public Relations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3.0 GPA<\/li>\n<li>Enrolled in a 4-year accredited bachelor\u2019s degree program\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on-site in West Point, GA<\/li>\n<li>Internship dates vary by semester<\/li>\n<li>Legally authorized to work in the United States<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem\u2011solving abilities\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Innovative mindset\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel &amp; PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Basic engineering and math skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Structure &amp; Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students may participate during spring, summer, or fall semesters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winter\/Spring: January\u2013May<\/li>\n<li>Summer: May\u2013August<\/li>\n<li>Fall: August\u2013December<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Additional details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paid bi-weekly<\/li>\n<li>Hourly compensation: $24.00 (Engineering), Administrative: $22.00 (Business)<\/li>\n<li>Housing allowance: $1,000 (within 50 miles), $2,000 (beyond 50 miles)<\/li>\n<li>Team wear and safety gear provided<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to Expect as an Intern:\u00a0<\/strong>Interns gain hands-on experience in a multicultural, high\u2011performance manufacturing environment, building r\u00e9sum\u00e9\u2011ready skills and professional confidence.
