The dates for the next training are weekdays between August 10th and August 24th, 2026.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST<\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>-Will you be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student during the semester of your internship?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>-Is your college within New York City, or within an easily commutable distance of the museum?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>-Do you have a minimum of one full weekday per week to commit to the program (October through December 2026)?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>-Will you be fully available for the training session in August 2026?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>Interns are paid on a stipend basis. Payment is provided as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pre-Visit Presentations:\u00a0Pre-Visits are 45-minute slideshow presentations delivered in classrooms prior to the class\u2019s visit to the museum. There are often several pre-visits that take place during each scheduled day, with interns earning $60 per presentation. These are typically facilitated by two interns.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Museum Tours:\u00a0Tours are typically 90 minutes, and interns will be paid $60 per gallery tour. Some tours may be scheduled for 60 minutes with a reduced stipend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Post-Visit Presentations:\u00a0Post-Visits are 45-minute reflection sessions led by the intern in classrooms subsequent to the class\u2019s visit to the museum. There are often several post-visits that take place during each scheduled day, with interns earning $60 per presentation.
