The FOIP combines a student\u2019s academic and career interests with valuable work experience in the commercial air carrier environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><strong>Locations<\/strong><\/i>: Chicago, IL\/ Denver, CO\/ Houston, TX\/ Los Angeles, CA\/ Newark, NJ\/ San Francisco, CA\/ Washington, DC\/Orlando, FL<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start and end dates: August 31, 2026 &#8211; December 18, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the internship the<strong> <\/strong>student will be assigned a mentor to work with who is responsible for monitoring their progress throughout the semester. The mentor will be responsible for assigning tasks, special projects and directing the intern on a daily basis. There may also be opportunities to travel to other cities within our network on business trips and off-site visits<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Flight Operations business processes in and staff in Chief Pilot Offices, at the Flight Training Center, and or at the Corporate Support Center, as directed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &#8211; External<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent<\/li>\n<li>FAA Commercial rating<\/li>\n<li>FAA Medical (First, Second, or Third class required<\/li>\n<li>Valid (Not Expired) Passport required for international travel<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to relocate and secure housing in assigned location<\/li>\n<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S for any employer without sponsorship or future sponsorship for a full\/part-time position<\/li>\n<li>Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FAA Multi-Engine Rating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Posted through 7\/6\/2026<\/p>\n<p>The starting monthly rate for this position is $17.50\/hour dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education level, and skills.
