{"id":18197,"date":"2026-04-29T20:44:34","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T20:44:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/recovery-court-pt-deputy\/"},"modified":"2026-04-29T20:44:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T20:44:34","slug":"recovery-court-pt-deputy","status":"publish","type":"ch_job","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/job\/recovery-court-pt-deputy\/","title":{"rendered":"Recovery Court PT Deputy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Essential Functions\/Typical Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prince George County Recovery Court is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Recovery Court Part-Time Deputy.\u00a0 This position will be responsible for performing protective service work for the Recovery Court, ensuring courtroom safety; and other related work as required. \u00a0Work is performed under regular supervision. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>General knowledge of courtroom security methods, practices and procedures; general knowledge of courtroom rules and regulations; some knowledge of police methods, practices and procedures; some knowledge of the geography of the County and location of important buildings; some knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Sheriff\u2019s office; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to prepare clear comprehensive reports; ability to deal courteously but firmly with the public; ability to analyze situations and to adopt quick, effective and reasonable courses of action; skill in the use of firearms and the operation of motor vehicles; possession of physical agility and endurance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some law enforcement,<br \/>civil process and\/or court security experience.
