Core Responsibilities<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n Be a caring adult who’s focused on helping students thrive\u00a0<\/p>\n Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support\u00a0<\/p>\n Track student progress and meet regularly with the school’s onsite coach\u00a0<\/p>\n Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software\u00a0<\/p>\n Commit to your own growth through coaching and training\u00a0<\/p>\n Share your experience with the community\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Essential Qualifications<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n By the time you begin your service with Math Corps, you should be:\u00a0<\/p>\n Dependable and have a history of good attendance\u00a0<\/p>\n Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback\u00a0<\/p>\n Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)\u00a0<\/p>\n Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing\u00a0<\/p>\n 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent\u00a0<\/p>\n A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States\u00a0<\/p>\n Able to successfully complete a\u00a0background check<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n Schedule<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run August 2026-June 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n 35 Hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)\u00a0<\/p>\n Daytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)\u00a0<\/p>\n Monday-Friday (no weekends)\u00a0<\/p>\n Time off on holidays and school release days\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Pay & Benefits<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Full-time AmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks.
