The hours may include 1 to 2 shifts Monday through Friday, shifts every other weekend and\/or some overnight sleep shifts. Limited holiday hours are required.\u00a0 Successful applicants will have good oral, written, and electronic communication skills. The perfect candidate will have experience working with women and children and\/or in residential settings.\u00a0To best support the program and maintain 24\/7 coverage, candidates who can respond to the building within 20\u201330 minutes are strongly preferred.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong>:\u00a0To provide supervision of women\/children in an emergency shelter setting.\u00a0 To maintain the safety of residents, to make sure all house rules are being followed according to the Policy &amp; Procedures Manual.\u00a0 To provide an environment that promotes the physical and mental well-being of each Resident.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Bachelor\u2019s Degree in social work-related field or significant residential\/childcare experience required.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Willingness and capability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights and weekends as scheduled.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic issues.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">The capabilities to implement appropriate child management techniques, which may include positive modeling and instruction for parents.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Excellent communication skills needed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Reliable transportation, valid driver\u2019s license, proof of automobile insurance, registration, inspection and driving record.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Bilingual\/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Don\u2019t meet every single requirement?<\/strong>\u00a0 Here at FSRI, we\u2019re dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
