They will\u00a0assist\u00a0with ensuring IDEA compliance,\u00a0facilitating\u00a0Evaluation Team Meetings,\u00a0participating\u00a0in IEP meetings for students with special education, reviewing and\/or revising IEPs, and working collaboratively with the school\u2019s administrative team to improve the achievement of all students with special education. This role\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0part-time\u00a0year round\u00a0administrative position.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">We&#8217;d love to hear from you! We look forward to connecting with you online or over the phone!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Master\u2019s degree and three to five years\u2019 related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Certification in the State of Rhode Island as a special education administrator.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Experience with children with behavioral\/psychiatric challenges\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Skilled in operating various\u00a0medical\u00a0record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Flexible schedule\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Excellent multitasking and communication skills\u00a0a must\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ability to work independently and part of a team<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bilingual\/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Physical Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong>This position requires community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Current driver\u2019s license, reliable transportation,\u00a0registration\u00a0and auto insurance\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ability to communicate effectively\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Travel to and from community locations and office site, which could include using walkways,\u00a0stairs\u00a0and\/or elevators\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ability to\u00a0lift up\u00a0to 20lbs\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Provide emergency coverage; ratio to the programs as needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Ability to be trained in and implement de-escalation techniques\u00a0utilizing\u00a0Handle with Care when necessary.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t meet every single requirement?<\/strong>\u00a0Here at FSRI, we\u2019re dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
